GetShorts.ai is an AI-powered video creation platform that enables users to generate both Story Shorts and User-Generated Content (UGC) videos. Our tools allow you to create scripts, utilize AI avatars and voiceovers, automatically generate captions, and export or post content directly to supported platforms.

3. Eligibility & Account Registration

You must be at least 18 years old to use our Services. To access certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for providing accurate information, maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, and for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Ownership of Content and Intellectual Property

Your Input

You retain ownership of any text, images, videos, or other materials you submit to the Services ("Input"). By submitting Input, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable, royalty-free license to use, process, and display your Input to provide and improve the Services.

Your Output

You own all rights, title, and interest in and to any videos and assets generated through the Services ("Output"), provided you comply with these Terms. We assign all copyrights in the Output to you. However, you acknowledge that AI-generated content may not be unique and may resemble content generated for other users.

5. YouTube API Usage

If you connect your YouTube account to our platform for direct posting, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy. We use YouTube API Services to manage posts on your behalf. You can revoke our access at any time via your Google Security Settings page.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use our Services to:

• Violate any applicable local, national, or international laws.
• Create or distribute harmful, obscene, defamatory, or misleading content.
• Infringe on third-party rights, including intellectual property and privacy rights.
• Reverse engineer our platform, bypass security measures, or use automated scraping tools.

7. Payment & Subscriptions

Certain features require a paid subscription. Plan features, usage credits, and limits are described at the point of purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled before the renewal date. All fees are exclusive of taxes unless otherwise stated.

8. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer

Our generative AI models operate algorithmically. Outputs may not always be completely accurate, and we do not guarantee suitability for any particular purpose. You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated videos and scripts before commercial use or publication.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GetShorts.ai and its affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Services, including any loss of profits or data. Our aggregate liability for any claims will not exceed the amounts paid by you to us in the six (6) months prior to the event giving rise to the claim.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or an in-platform notice. Continued use of the Services signifies your acceptance of the updated Terms.
